Holiday in Donegal

I chickened out from using my metal detector the garrett 550 GTAX on my recent holidays in Donegal. It seems the Guardai are prone to locking anyone up that they find metal detecting or even in possession thereof in the great Irish Republic. Talk about burying your head in the sand, but the irish Goverment have effectively banned the hobby outright.........
